I like these guys, their message and style: http://www.yesmoke.eu. They have a nice pitch $5.95 for 100 cigarettes delivered by mail anywhere in the world.
They have been through the ringer so to speak previously with US Law enforcement. Seems like they were already to launch on 10/31/2007 and... Voila... the credit card companies pulled out of the deal at the last minute.
The Feds have inflitrated and have influence over Swiss Banking! Bottom line is all sources of payments online are heavely monitored under Bank secrecy - anti-terrorism laws by Fincens and other ferderal agencies.
Unless this company comes up with a way to get paid it is highly unlikely mail order / online cig businesses will succeed.
They should do a gift card program like Walmart and sell t-shirts and cigs so they can get paid by credit cards. This way anyone can anonymously redeem their gift cards for smokes with no trace back to their identity. "Officer... I gave that gift card away in a xmas grab bag"
Ever get the feeling your being watched? It's a damn shame the world ain't free anymore.

I wrote them a few weeks back and now they say sometime mid January. We'll see though.
Maybe because it will be their own brand, they won't bothered so much as before. Phillip Morris was their biggest enemy.
I would love to see what their brand is like. |
