| Hi there I am new here just found this page and have to give a thanks to all of those here that stand up for smokers rights. I have been reading for a few days and know this website was created because of the truth.com and all their anti-smoking bull. Has anyone seen this latest ad that they are airing now. It is so crazy beyond belief. Now they are saying that are smokes have plutonium in them. It sounds to me that they are resorting to pulling this stuff out their rear ends. It pisses me off to hear far fetched lies. Thanks for giving me a place to rant! |

| I'm sorry but truth.com is called truth.com for a reason. If you don't believe them go to phillip morris' website and try to find a list of ingridients for cigarettes. the stuffs pretty noxious, you wouldn't believe the stuff in them. |

The "stuffs" is no more noxious than your fireplace, barbecue, incense, etc.
In a non-ventilated area, you would have to smoke over approximately 100,000 cigarettes AN HOUR to create any noticeable product that is "pretty noxious".
What is "pretty noxious"? Many things but the most obvious is SMOG.
SMOG, something that YOU contribute to every single time you get in your car and turn the key. Now, that is "pretty noxious" by the pound!
Why do you suppose they issue warnings in the form of "SMOG ALERTS"?
Ever heard of any SHS ALERTS? Didn't think so, since they don't exist!
Funny thing about SMOG, California (one of the most affected states by this--to the point of having the 5 most "polluted cesspool" cities in the USA) is the state with the most prohibitive smoking bans.
New York City isn't far behind, and look what the bonehead mayor is doing there--creating economic havoc in the HOSPITALITY industry. Bet he gets his a$$ kicked next vote.
So, what is REALLY causing cancer in California, OH, NY, Michigan, etc? SMOG or SHS?
The betting is on SMOG, which is REAL .
SHS is a CREATED fraud.
If you don't think I have some clue as to the above, check out Sarnia.
On most days of the week, the absolute reek from our "Chemical Valley" is unbelieveable. You can see a brown haze over Sarnia from miles away and notice "the smell of money" within 10 miles. Summer and Winter SMOG ALERTS are very common and increasing every year.
You guessed it, Mayor Mike Bradley(of Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" cameo appearance fame) "instigated" a "gold standard" smoking ban on Sept 04/04. B&Rs are getting "whacked hard" with three "going bust" in just 2 months with more to come! With a high smoking rate in this 'blue collar' small city the effect on this city's tax base will be heavy. Hello, "skyrocketing" property taxes? There is a price to pay for all this stupidity and maybe, just maybe, this is what this is all about, MONEY and not HEALTH!
Total idiocy, in this "polluted cesspool" of a small city(pop. 85,000).
Now, that is my "truth.com"!
Feel free to submit this post to them; the idiots in California, New York,
Ireland, etc.; and anywhere else where SHS fraud is a big deal. |
