| Kegan should've shot that Ayers dipkhead's face off. I know I would've. I hate antis as much as w's with a racist attitude. Smoking cigs is not a crime period. And even though Kegan claimed he never pulled out a gun, killing an antismoker isn't a crime in my books. Not when the anti bangs on my door. |

I'm sorry if you view it that way. But I see a comparison between antis and a group that's a lot similar to them (within my own words). I don't see any comments toward a specific group (a group of innocent folks) that hint racism. I also clarified my own words when someone thought I meant anyone. I'm not welcome to clarify my own words?
But if comparing antis with racists is not welcome, then I'll remember that. |

I tend to disagree - I think we SHOULD compare anti's with racism - after all, they are discriminatory against us smokers.
Not allowing smokers in bars and restaurants is just like back in the days when blacks weren't allowed in certain places, before the civil rights movement. It's almost like we're going back in time (of course, smokers don't have it anywhere near as bad as the black population did, but it is still discrimination). |

It's good to see I'm not the only one that sees the discrimination similarity between antis and the "otha group." Do you think antis could give a darn if a smoker steps outside in -20 degree temps, and the smoker ends up dying from the cold weather? That happened at a Canadian nursing home this year.
I don't have time to mention all of the similarities (I even had to save my blog post for more writing lata on this topic). But I'd like to think most smokers agree antis have a mindset that's similar to the otha group. How do you think I feel when a nonsmoking woman turns me down when she learns/sees that I smoke? I'm even sick and tired of adult females telling me I oughta quit smoking.
It's like if I didn't smoke, women would talk to me. Women who smoke talk to me, but is that surprising, based in this world that we live in? But I'm not quitting smoking just to make new friends. My friends are in this green pack...TRUE friends I mean. |

My comments to Jay were about his comment above.How would the reverse of it look if I were to post such a statement? Here it is:
"I hate antis as much as blacks with a racist attitude".
That is within the context of why I wanted racism out of this
thread.
Understand,I hate all hate mongers and racists,white,black,yellow or anywhere in between.
My point was to Jays statement, that I still believe was inappropriate,as it implied he only hates white racists, but not black,yellow or red racists.
I can take criticism,so feel free to have at it.Jay,et al. |
