Well, looks like the Senate has OK'd FDA regulation of the tobacco industry.
"The proposal would give the FDA broad authority to regulate sale, distribution and advertising of cigarettes and other tobacco products — with the aim of reducing addiction and smoking by children and teenagers, according to its sponsors."

This isn't final yet, but it isn't what I would call an encouraging sign. |

No, it's not encouraging particularly since it's riding on the back of something that has nothing to do with tobacco. This is how we lose so many thing and end up paying for so many others.
Thanks for the info! Crazie |

NO, this is definately NOT good news! My only advice to you all is to keep buying from overseas, or perhaps grow your own.... First they will get the power to regulate cigarettes, then ban them outright.
My only hope is that there is other bureacratic bs in that bill which will sink the entire bill. In the meantime, we should all write letters to our representatives/senators saying that we smoke & we vote..........
