Which, of course, we all said/knew was coming, even before the election, and naturally, the media poo-poohed the idea....I DID think for sure that the fucking bastards would AT LEAST wait a year or more before starting this shit, but each victory they get, since they're winning more and more these days, has emboldened them to the point where they feel they can get away with virtually anything.
These are not my words, as I took this post with the info from a local board:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Somebody just sent me this - amazing, but we all saw it coming. We lose one freedom at a time.......till there are none.
Channel 2 news in Dayton just announced that the indoor smoking ban was
just a preliminary to banning smoking outdoors. They said that if
someone is outside they should be at least 6 feet away from a single
smoker - otherwise the air is just as polluted as in a smoky tavern.
Unbelievable - the lies about SHS just grow and get bigger with each
passing day. |

"Only on flights of two hours or less" rings a bell
WE know where this is going. Let them get tobacco outlawed and we'll set-up a bootleg and grow your own forum
That would put the asses out of a paycheck.

| One Bar Owner in Arizona was so angry that he dedicated the entire patio as SMOKING ONLY.He said they wanted segregation and now they have it.He also said that if they wanted to eat outside they would have to go to their cars or stand 20 ft away from the patio. |

I received this email this morning from a member of that local board and wanted to share it, typos and all.

Hi all, I called and talked to Stacy Porter at WDTN (2) about the report. She said it is a study being don on what was reported.
I explained who is behind the bans and the lies out there. She seemed very interested and in a meeting this morning she is going to bring it up to report the this info. either he ror a reporter will call me today.
I had told her that I will not be the one but will let them know who will be intervied. she said it needs to be local for their local reporters although they can have a columbus reporter interview also.

This ban is getting to be way out of hand. Anti's in Ohio run around naively thinking they can shove their agenda down our throats without a fight. |

Gotta luv a guy with common sense.................so hard to find sometimes...........hehehehe
But seriously, that is exactly MY stand......they don't want me smoking INDOORS; fine, no problem, then the OUTDOOR dining area is mine and they can beg to kiss my a$$ before I'd consider sharing it with them. |
