I've started rolling my own recently, and I have a question, since I'm rather new at this.
I smoke American Spirit, and I bought a nifty rolling machine (hand rolling is something I'm currently attempting to master! My first few looked like doobies and were un-smokable), but in using the rolling machine and the papers that came with the tin of American Spirit, the outcome is disappointing. It always tends to be packed too tight, and requires frequent relighting. Not to mention I tend to taste the paper.
Is it just the roller I'm using, or am I personally packing it too tight, or what? If so, could you giveme any suggestions on how exactly to pack it? If I put less tobacco in the roller, it comes out too thin and still goes out frequently.
(For reference, I use a "Job Adjust-a-Roll")
Any help would be appreciated! |

| When you "roll" the webbing around the tobacco to settle it before inserting the paper, try to give the rollers only a quarter to a half turn. Place the paper in the "slot" and only turn it enough to get the paper fully into the machine. Avoid turning the rollers too much as this will result in a too-tight stick. |
