Ok,
It's bad enough the #1 tobacco company has to have ads on the tv about not smoking, but now they have these brochures at the gas station about "How to talk to your kids about not smoking". PMUSA is getting just to damned wierd for my taste anymore......... maybe I'll switch to Camels.
At least RJR doesn't shove that crap in your face like PM does. |

| That's a good switch to make. I recently switched to Camels for that reason. I can't stand Philip Morris. I don't like what they're trying to do. |

| I'll smoke Salems if I wanted to smoke a RJR brand. I have yet to see these brochures made by PM. I know PM has these brochures on their packs promoting the smokersignup site, but an anti PM brochure? If that's true on the anti smoking PM brochures, they're a bunch of hypocrites! |

PM can't be trusted, they're talking from both sides of their face and I personally find it disgusting.
I found these generics called GT One, they are owned by a company that is basically protesting the high cigarette rates. They're only $2.00 per pack in Ohio and $17.99 per carton. They take a little getting used to, but the taste is somewhere between Marlboro's and Camel's.
Try them, it may take some time to find them, they're a new company that is trying to get into mainstream. I like them and have been smoking them for over a month now.
But I REFUSE to buy from Philip Morris ever again. They are two-faced, back-stabbing, little beeoches. |

I'm not sure, but I think the reason PM is hoisting all this quit smoking info on everyone is because they were ordered to when they lost one of those big class-action suits.
At least I hope so, I'd hate to think they just gave in to anti-smoking pressure! |

Philip Morris is probably trying to appease the anti-cigarette nazi's.
What I don't understand is why they care if yesmokes is selling their cigarettes-don't they still make money since they are coming out of their production in most cases? |

Correct, this is a direct result of MSA agreement with states for $260B+. Also, appears there is a time limitation on this condition as a result of this poorly fought settlement.
Phillip Morris is not losing much since they own the Altria group which is actually making money off the discriminatory smoking bans and the immediate price increases after the settlement(60cents per pack). |

A few years ago, Philip Morris was recruiting at colleges. They called themselves Philip Morris, and went recruiting workers in the colleges' non-smoking groups. They would say that they were trying to get away from the image of making cigarettes.
I think Philip Morris is playing the good vs evil game with cigarettes. They have Altria fight for the anti smokers while PM still fights for smokers in Richmond, VA. They go further by allowing altria to use the PM name in their campains. I've visited the massive factory. Although I couldn't go in, they had cigarette baloons, a large tower with all their cigarettes. It was clear that Philip Morris meant tobacco. They influence the lawmakers in Richmond reject all smoking ban issues, and keep the excise taxes off. Through this hypocracy, they fight for smokers on their turf, but for antismokers everywhere else. When you don't know what you're fighting for, you're evil. PM is an evil company.

question
I have moved from TN to MI and I dont know how in the hell the state of MI can get away with pactically dubling the price of their cigarettes. Its insane. I have smoked Marlboro ever since I started smoking and I love them. The quality is superb and I have yet to find another cigarette that has the quality of a marlboro. My question is, I use to get coupons sent to me, but since I moved from to TN to Michigan I havent recieved any coupons. Is this because they dont know my new address?
sincerely,
