Im tired of being pushed into a Sh$%tHole to smoke when Im at a game. I pay my $100 to get in like everyone else. But Im treated like a leper and pushed into the nastiest place in the bldg. What would make them nicer....
Heres my list. Lets start adding more and then take these demands to a team/league/bldg owner
1. Awnings (if outside)
2. Decent ashtrays with sand.
3. Vent fans if inside
4. plasma screens to watch the game while Im smoking.
what else would make the smokers area nicer? |

| Just curious what stadium it is you're used to going to? The stadium here's a dome and it just flat-out sucks. They may even be pushing people outside now, I'm not sure. |

| The metrodome in smoke-free Minneapolis. I've boycotted Minneapolis since they went smoke-free. It used to be the only place you could smoke was the foyer, but since that's indoors I'm sure it's now banned. Hmmm...I don't know if people have to leave the stadium now or what. |

I was there last February or so (freestyle motocross....not really a fan but my daughters were curious) and we could still smoke in the foyer areas. I was actually quite surprised.
I'm sure some nanny has this in their sights.
Funny thing was they blasted off enough fireworks in there at the start of the show you could barely see the seats on the far side for about a half-hour. And you could definitely smell the odor from those 2-stroke engines.
But don't light up a cigarette. |
