Hello, my fellow smokers. *Lights up* I've been a smoker since I was 14 years old. Most of the time I've been smoking, I've been smoking Camel Filters. I love em!
I've been researching new ways of getting Camel Filters. I want the REAL THING, Camel Filters, no more, no less.
I can't buy fake Camels, and I can't switch brands. (Alright, I could, but I could also quit smoking, and I don't see that happening any time soon.)
I don't know a great amount about buying them online, but it doesn't seem like a good idea to me. It's illegal in some places and your state always wants to squeeze as much tax money as they can out of you. (What's the greater sin, the sin itself, or the sin tax?) Bah!
I realize that I smoke a premium brand and I'm willing to pay a fair price for them. I'm in search for the fairest price though. Or at least something that I can do differently. A few of my friends smoke Camel Filters as well, so I was thinking that we could team up and find ourselves a better way.
Each store has slightly different prices. So it's a good idea to find the cheapest place, obviously, as long as I'm not driving too far. But why should I be limited to buying a carton, or a few cartons? Where do the stores get them? How much do THEY pay for them? I want to get a VIP discount!
If I want to buy them in the same way that stores buy them (from other stores or directly from the producer), I'll probably need a license right? Maybe? Will I need to buy a certain minum? (What is the minimum?) Will I need to buy more than just one brand? I want to get down to the roots of all this. Hey, if I need a license, I'll just get one and start my own cigarette shop! Why not? Then everything's better for me and my friends, as well as the rest of the smokers around here. I even know of a place I could rent for only 200 dollars month.
There's many questions and things to learn about this direction that I'm thinking into. I can find it all eventually but I don't think they share information like that with "regular" people very easily. If there's no informed people here like I hope there is, then I'll have to become an insider myself!
I might have to talk to an owner or two of cigarette shops and read though pages of confusing and boring state laws. (Illinois) I hope not, but they never make things like that easy to find out. I'm sure the government wants nothing more than for me to be an uninformed consumer who pays lots of taxes and get's into debt. That's just not my style though!
Thanks in advance to everyone here at this site, especially the ones who read and/or reply to this.
