Here is a good article on the way the anti-smokers work:

http://www.cato.org/dailys/02-13-04.html

"the anti-tobacco industry is taking an "our way (tobacco prohibition) or the highway (more smoking-related disease)" approach.

It's a disturbing attitude that seems to be driven more by a blind hatred of the tobacco industry than concern for the health of smokers."

That is so very true. They do have a blind hatred toward the tobacco industry. I think the blindness is because they don't understand the motives of smokers. We smoke, becasue it helps us cope. I read a http://interactive.snm.org/index.cfm?PageID=2126&RPID=10. It smoking helps aggressive people cope in social situations. It further concludes that some people are just born to smoke. I understand this, but anti-smokers don't understand this. As I was reading this, I thought these anti-smokers are totally misinformed. Imaging taking cigarettes away from a really aggressive person in a country where we can just pick a gun off the shelf in Wal-Mart. Thank God, I'm not that aggressive, but I know some smokers are. As a smoker, I truely care about them. I am always happy to help a smoker make cheap cigarettes to help them avoid taxes, but most importantly to keep them smoking. If more of the visiters on here understood our motives, they wouldn't knock the man who provides us this tool in helping our fellow humans. These are my motives. It's very hard for me to understand an anti's motives, because I'm not one.
