I mean...about buying smokes from places like the advertised on this forum....CIGmall.Biz?
I read the FAQ and tell me if I got it straight:
You can buy up to 200 cigs (a carton) from them "duty free" without gov interference.
Is there a time restriction on how often you can purchase a carton duty free?
Do they report or are they under any order to report your purchases? Being outside the U.S. I would think they are not subject to any State law or regulation....is that correct?
Thanks in advance if any can shed some light on this for me.
At 6.75 shipping a carton the price is about the same as buying them here retail...but I had rather pay $6.75 to them for shipping than to a state determined to single out and persecute me. |

| Where do you live and can buy for same price as Cigmall? Must be a low tax State. |

I wouldn't buy mailorder with a ten foot pole......
As of now I'm MYO - only buying machines and paper online...
There's real tobacco stores out there - they don't advertise - ya' have to find them.
Maybe I'm paranoid - but too many people have been stung---years down the road. |

I agree, gilster. They seem to be setting everyone up on these mail-order deals.
I would avoid them, too. |

Hardly low tax....Oregon....and I said "about" the same price.
As and example you cn purchase a carton of Grand Prix light 100s here for about $24.00 at some discount retailers.
Cigmall's price of $15.33 plus 6.75 shipping comes out to $22.08
Course with the probable $8.50 a carton tax increase looming that differential will increase substantially. |

Do the cruise ships still sell duty free cigarettes?
If you can go with a group you can give them the cigarettes you buy over the duty fee limit and collect them after you pass customs.
My last cruise was three years ago and I think my Benson & Hedges ran around $15 a carton, limit of 2 cartons per person if I remember right. |
