| I was thinking about private parties in NYC. Can you allow smoking in private banquet halls, or hotels anymore? I know you can still smoke in your hotel room in the city, so I would assume that if you rent a hall, you can smoke there. Does anyone know? |

I'd wondered about it because that's how bars in Utah deal with their overzealous blue laws.
Does anyone know? |

| my guess is you cannot smoke in rented halls. i'm fairly certain (like 99%) that you cannot smoke in rented halls in massachusetts unless it's a private club (and they may soon take away smoking rights in private clubs here in massachusetts soon). |

No smoking in rented halls in NYC.
The NY ban is so comprehensive that you cannot even smoke in a company car, even if you are the only one who uses it. |

Yea, right.
